Ultrasonic Cavitation

What is ultrasonic cavitation?

Ultrasonic cavitation is non-invasive and non-surgical fat removal treatment. There is no need for a lengthy recovery – meaning you can return to work and your normal activities. Ultrasounds waves ‘penetrate’ the skin surface to break down fat cells. Concentrated sonic energy is directed only to treatment areas which disrupts the subcutaneous fat cells. The low frequency ultrasound produces cavitation which breaks up the adipose cell membranes which cannot withstand this pressure.

Ultrasound cavitation is a form of liposuction with no incisions or needles that produces effective results.

Cavitation assists in body contouring and can help reduce and eliminate cellulite.

What areas can be treated?

✓ Abdomen

✓ Outer Thighs

✓ Inner Thighs

✓ Buttocks

✓ Inner arms

✓ Flanks (love handles)

How much time between two sessions?

It's advised that you leave 72 hours between your first two cavitation treatments but no more than a week for maximum results. This allows your body to excrete waste materials and fat after each treatment. During your consultation we'll be able to advise you further on maintenance treatments.

How many ultrasonic cavitation treatments are needed?

Results from ultrasonic cavitation vary and is dependent on each individual. Many will see results from one treatment but it's recommended to have between 3-10 treatments for enhanced results. Please note that factors such as body mass, medication and age can impact desired goal.

Are the results from ultrasonic cavitation similar to surgical liposuction?

Yes as fat cells are killed during the treatment. Please note that results won't be as quick as surgical liposuction.

What are the benefits of Ultrasonic Cavitation?

  • Clinically proven results.
  • Non-surgical unlike liposuction.
  • Non-invasive and fat removal solution for targeting reduction of stubborn fat pockets and reshaping your body.
  • No anaesthesia, no needles, no tubes inserted under the skin, no hospitalisation or scarring.

  • You can re-commence sport and physical exercise within the same day.
  • Safe and relatively pain free.

How long are ultrasonic cavitation treatments?

The complete cavitation procedure will last no longer than 30 minutes. Please note we'll tailor treatment times to best suit your requirements based on your consultation.

What results can I expect from Ultrasonic Cavitation?

After your cavitation treatment, you can expect to see a difference of inches on your abdomen for example. This has been experienced by several of our clients. Results are long lasting providing aftercare is followed and a healthy lifestyle is maintained.

Am I a good candidate for Ultrasonic Cavitation?

Great news! ultrasonic cavitation has been shown to be great for those looking to reduce fat in a specific area. If you're within 10-15 kg of your ideal weight, store stubborn fat that you've struggled with, ultrasonic cavitation may be the solution. As you cannot spot reduce with exercise, ultrasonic cavitation is great as its a highly targeted procedure. It is an ideal solution for individuals who do not want to undertake surgical liposuction.

Please note, ultrasonic cavitation is not a substitute for a healthy diet and exercise. Should you wish to shed a significant amount of fat, we recommend dieting before beginning treatment. We will advise accordingly during consultation.

Is ultrasonic cavitation a safe treatment?

Yes - ultrasonic cavitation is a non-invasive and non-surgical procedure.

Can I drink alcohol?

It's recommended that you refrain from alcohol consumption for the first 72 hours following your cavitation treatment. This is to help maximise results. Your liver will prioritise alcohol metabolism over fat removal and can hinder your results.

Can I combine ultrasound cavitation with any other treatment?

Ultrasound lipo and radio frequency skin tightening can be used together for great results.

Are there any side effects?

No. The procedure is painless. There may be slight redness in the treated area. Please note there may be some noise discomfort due to the frequency ultrasound noise. This noise should disappear as soon as the treatment is finished. Whilst there is heat generated, this is endurable and shouldn't cause discomfort.

Before Ultrasound Cavitation treatment

It's important to be hydrated before your cavitation treatment and thereafter. Please ensure you arrive early to start your treatment on time. If you are on any medication or have any health conditions, please declare this to your clinical therapist.

Ultrasonic lipo aftercare

Although the number of fat cells is reduced during ultrasonic lipo, clients are still advised to live a healthy lifestyle as this will help maintain their results. Furthermore, it's essential that you drink 2-3 litres of water a day to flush the dead fat cells out of your body. It is also important to exercise regularly as this will assist in the metabolism of the dead fat cells.
